The 2nd Zefer Tournament took place in Istanbul
The second Zefer Tournament took place at the Kemer Golf Club in Istanbul with the participation of the president of the Azerbaijan Golf Federation Mr. Rauf Khalilov, the president of the Turkish Golf Federation Mr. Yildirim Demirören, alongside representatives from both federations. The brotherly tournament was also attended by Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu - the former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey and now a Member of the Grand National Assembly.
47 players of the national golf teams of Azerbaijan and Turkey participated in the Zefer Tournament. Dedicated to the victory of the Second Karabakh War and the friendship between Azerbaijan and Turkey, the event exemplifies the strong bond shared by these two nations, rooted not only in sports but also in common history and values.
